Spiced Pecans

  • 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
  • 1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • dash of ground cloves
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of garlic powder
  • 2 c. pecans

Directions

    Place butter in a 2-quart microwave-safe dish.

    Microwave for 45 seconds to 1 1/2 minutes or until the butter has melted.

    Mix in Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, salt, cinnamon, garlic powder and ground cloves.

    Stir the pecans into the butter-spice mixture. Blend thoroughly.

    Microwave, uncovered, for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring after 3 minutes. When mixture has heated through, spread nuts on a paper towel to cool. When pecans have cooled, place in airtight containers. Store at room temperature.
