Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1/4 c. hot water
  • 1 1/2 c. pecans
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix sugar, cinnamon, cream of tartar and water.

    Boil until soft ball stage.

    Remove from heat.

    Add pecans and vanilla flavoring.

    Stir until mixture begins to sugar.

    Pour out on wax paper and separate pecans.

    Let cool and store in tin.
