  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 3 cups pecan halves
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 12 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 12 teaspoon ground cloves

    Beat egg white (at room temperature) and water at high speed of an electric mixer until foamy.

    Add pecans, stirring to coat.

    Combine sugar and remaining ingredients in a small bowl, and sprinkle over pecans; stir well.

    Spread pecans in a single layer on a lightly greased baking sheet.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, stirring twice.
