  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 14 cup water
  • 12 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups pecan halves

Directions

    Heat first four ingredients in a heavy pan to 242 degrees on a candy thermometer.

    Place pecans in a large bowl and pour mixture over them; toss to coat.

    Spread out on a cookie sheet, cool and separate.

    If they are too sticky you can put them in a 150 degree oven for a few minutes to crisp them a little.
