  • 1 lb. pecan halves
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 Tbsp. cold water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. chili powder

Directions

    Mix egg and water. Beat until frothy.

    Add the nuts.

    Mix sugar, salt, cinnamon, allspice and chili powder.

    Add to the nuts and mix well.

    Spread on buttered cookie sheet.

    Bake at 250° for 1 hour.

    Cool and store in airtight container.
