  • 1 (20 or 28 oz.) can pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 c. white vinegar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. whole cloves
  • 1/2 stick cinnamon, broken in little pieces

Directions

    Drain syrup from pineapple chunks; mix with remaining ingredients.

    Place in refrigerator; gently shake now and then. Enhances flavor after standing a day or two.

    Excellent with ham or turkey dinners or as bite-sized hors d'oeuvres.

    Yield: 2 to 3 cups.
