Spicy Bacon Bean Pot

- 3 (16 oz.) cans baked beans
- 2 (15 oz.) cans red kidney beans
- 2 (12 oz.) cans whole kernel corn
- 10 slices bacon
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/4 c. smoke flavored barbecue sauce
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Prepare onions to fry.

2Have hot fat in frying pan.

3When onions are seasoned and frying nicely, slide into oven.

4Place over the fire another frying pan.

5When fat is smoking hot in same, put a nice one inch thick steak into same, sear on both sides quickly in hot fat.

6When done place on platter, season, remove onions from the oven, drain all the fat off the onions. Cover steak with onions and serve at once with a few slices of lemon and tomatoes and a small sprig of parsley.
