- 4-6 lb. beef brisket
- allspice
- 5 beef bouillon cubes
- Cornstarch
Directions

1Place brisket, fat side up on rack of broiler pan.

2Fill pan with water.

3Sprinkle side of brisket with Allspice.

4Bake 6 hours at 275°.

5Wrap in foil and chill.

6Pour juice in jar and refrigerate.

7Slice beef 1/4 inch across grain and place in baking dish.

8Take fat off of juice.

9Heat juice and bouillon cubes and thicken with cornstarch.

10Pour gravy over meat.

11Bake for 1 hour at 350°.

12Tastes like prime rib.

13The gravy is great over mashed potatoes.
