- 1 head broccoli, trimmed of tough ends and cut into spears
- 2 tablespoons wok or vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon hot crushed red pepper flakes
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- Coarse salt
Directions

1Simmer broccoli covered in 1 inch of water for 5 to 7 minutes, until tender.

2Drain broccoli and return skillet to heat.

3Heat skillet over high heat.

4Add oil, crushed pepper and garlic.

5Turn broccoli in hot spicy oil and season with salt.

6Transfer to a serving dish.
