Ingredients

  • 1 lb. boneless pork chops (about 1/2 inch thick)
  • 1/3 cup Kikkoman soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup minced green onions (scallions) and tops
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. sesame seed, toasted
  • 3 tbsp. water
  • 1-1/2 tsp. minced fresh ginger root
  • 1 tsp. Tabasco pepper sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Directions

    Slice pork into 1/4 inch thick strips.

    Place pork in a large Ziploc storage bag and return to refrigerator while preparing marinade.

    Whisk all ingredients (except pork) together in a medium-large bowl.

    Pour mixture over pork that is in the bag.

    Seal bag and knead pork around in the marinade.

    Refrigerate for 1 hour.

    Transfer pork out of marinade and into a shallow baking pan.

    Set oven rack to middle of oven and broil pork on high for 3 minutes.

    Remove from oven, turn pork over, and continue broiling for an additional 2 or 3 minutes, or until pork is cooked through.
