  • 9-inch pie shell
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 c. cooked pumpkin
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 tsp. mace
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 c. dark brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Combine butter, pumpkin, ginger, cloves, mace and cinnamon. Beat eggs until frothy; add flour, both sugars, salt and milk; mix gently.

    Mix egg mixture and pumpkin mixture with a gentle hand. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 450° for 15 minutes. Reduce oven to 375° and bake 45 minutes longer or until knife tip inserted in center comes out clean.
