2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 1/3 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
5 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
icing brown, red and green colored decorative

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Cream the butter, salt, sugar and vanilla extract. Gradually stir in the eggs and mix in the flour and baking powder. Stir in the milk and mix until combined.

Line a 12 cup muffin pan with paper liners and distribute the cake mix evenly between them. Bake them for about 25 mins. Take the cupcakes out of the oven and let cool in the tins on a wire rack for about 1 hour.

Mix the lemon juice and powdered sugar until smooth and spread the mixture over the muffins. Let it dry. Once dry, use the prepared colored icing to decorate some of the cupcakes with spider webs and spiders. Decorate the remaining cupcakes with cherries and colored icing to create creepy eyes.
