Spinach Casserole

- 1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
- 1 egg
- 1 c. grated sharp cheese
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- dash of garlic salt
- dash of red pepper
- 2 slices bread, cubed
Directions

1Cook spinach using 1/2 cup water and 1 teaspoon sugar.

2Drain. Mash out all liquid.

3Combine spinach, soup, egg and cheese. Pour into 1 1/2-quart casserole.

4Toss bread crumbs into butter to which garlic and red pepper have been added.

5Place on top of spinach and bake 1 hour at 350°.
