Spinach Dip

Ingredients

• 1 c. (and a little) Hellmann's mayonnaise
• 1 pt. sour cream
• 1 can chopped water chestnuts
• 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
• 1 (10 oz.) pkg. thawed spinach, drained well
• 1 pkg. Knorr vegetable soup mix
• 1 lb. round pumpernickel bread (uncut)
• 1 1/2 c. sour cream
• 8 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)
• 10 oz. frozen chopped spinach, cooked and drained well
• 1 c. diced water chestnuts
• 3 small green onions with tops, chopped fine
• 1 pkg. Knorr dry vegetable soup mix
• 1 c. mayo
