  • 1 (16 oz.) cottage cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 3/4 tsp. oregano
  • 2 (15 oz.) jars spaghetti sauce
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. lasagne noodles, uncooked
  • 1 c. water

Directions

    Combine cottage cheese, 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, egg, spinach, salt, pepper and oregano.

    Mix well.

    Spread 1/2 cup sauce in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch Pyrex dish.

    Place 1/3 uncooked noodles over sauce. Spread with 1/2 cheese mixture. Repeat layers. Top with remaining noodles, sauce and 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese.

    Pour water around edges.

    Cover with foil. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

    Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
