  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • dash of nutmeg
  • 1/2 pt. light cream
  • 1 (8 or 9-inch) frozen pie shell
  • 6 slices bacon

Directions

    Cook spinach according to package; drain with strainer and spoon and press out all water.

    Mix eggs, cream and seasonings. Stir in spinach.

    Pour into frozen pie shell.

    Place in preheated 350° oven and cook for 40 to 45 minutes.

    Cook bacon, drain on paper towel, roll and place on top of quiche before serving.
