  • 1 deep dish pie crust (unbaked)
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. chicken broth
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 4 Egg Beaters
  • 1 c. skim milk
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. basil leaves
  • 1/2 tsp. dill weed
  • 1 c. grated Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 c. ham, cubed
  • 1/3 lb. cooked, crumbled bacon (optional)

Directions

    Over medium heat, cook onions and garlic in chicken broth until golden.

    Add spinach and spoon into bottom of pie crust; set aside.

    In a bowl, combine Egg Beaters, milk, flour, basil, dill and cheese.

    Pour over spinach mixture.

    Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes or until inserted knife comes out clean.

    Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
