Spinach Salad

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pkg. spinach
  • 1 lb. bacon
  • salt
  • pepper
  • sugar
  • 6 boiled eggs
  • 1 head lettuce
  • 1 small bag frozen peas
  • 1 onion (optional)
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1 large jar Hellmann's mayonnaise

Directions

    Layer spinach, washed, dried and torn.

    Then layer bacon, fried crisp and crumbled, then salt, pepper and sugar, sprinkled. Layer eggs, chopped, then lettuce, washed, dried and torn.

    Layer peas, thawed at room temperature, then salt, pepper and sugar, sprinkled.

    Mix together sour cream and mayo.

    Spread mixture on top of salad about 1 hour before serving.

    Sprinkle grated Cheddar cheese and bacon bits on top.

    Best if eaten the first couple of days.
