- 1 1/3 c. Softasilk cake flour, sifted
- 6 egg yolks
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 tsp. lemon extract
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Beat egg whites and cream of tartar in a large bowl to soft peaks. Beat at high speed in electric mixer. Add 1/2 cup of sugar, gradually sprinkling 2 tablespoons at a time, to the egg whites and continue to beat until very stiff peaks are formed. Do not underbeat.
