- 4 eggs
- 2/3 c. water
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. cake flour (2 Tbsp. less if regular flour)
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Separate eggs.

2Beat egg whites until frothy.

3Add cream of tartar and salt.

4Beat until stiff.

5Set aside.

6Add water, almond extract and yolks.

7Beat well with electric mixer.

8Add sugar, a little at a time, continuing to beat with mixer.

9Stir in flour with a spoon.

10Fold beaten whites into yolk mixture.

11Grease and flour tube cake pan.

12Bake 1 hour at 325°.
