- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. unsifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Beat eggs on high until foamy.

2Gradually add sugar, beating until mixture is double in volume.

3Combine flour, baking powder and salt.

4Add alternately with water and vanilla to egg mixture, beating on low speed just until combined.

5Immediately pour into greased and floured 8-inch pan.

6Bake at 350° for 22 to 25 minutes.

7Cool 5 minutes.

8Remove from pan and cool completely on rack.
