  • 2 c. whole milk
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. plain corn meal
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 6 egg whites

Directions

    Mix the milk and sugar.

    Put the salt in milk and bring to a boil.

    Add the corn meal. Stir until cooked, almost 2 minutes. Stir in the egg yolks and baking powder.

    Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture.

    Place in buttered baking dish. Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
