- 2 c. milk
- 1 c. water
- 3/4 c. yellow corn meal
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs, beaten well
- 1 tsp. butter
Directions

1Heat the milk in a saucepan until it is hot, but not boiling. Mix the water, corn meal and salt together in a small bowl; then add it to the heated milk.

2Continue heating the mixture over low heat until it has thickened.

3Stir frequently to prevent lumps from forming.

4Add the beaten eggs and the butter to the thickened corn mixture and mix well.

5Pour into a greased baking dish.

6Bake at 375° for 35 to 45 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
