- 2 c. water
- 1 c. cornmeal
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. heavy cream
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In a medium saucepan, mix water and cornmeal.

3Bring to a boil and cook 5 minutes.

4Cool to lukewarm. Add eggs and remaining ingredients.

5Beat thoroughly; pour into a well-greased pan and bake 30 to 40 minutes or until puffed and golden.

6Serve as an alternative to bread.
