- 1 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. milk
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Slowly add the cornmeal to the boiling water, stirring constantly.

2Cook until thick.

3Remove from the heat and add the salt and butter.

4Then add the milk and beaten egg yolks.

5Fold in the beaten egg whites and place in a greased shallow baking dish (6 1/2 x 10 x 2-inch).

6Bake at 375° for 50 minutes.

7Yields 6 servings.
