- 1 pkg. yeast
- 2 c. warm water
- 4 c. self-rising flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 egg
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Beat egg, add sugar and shortening; mix well.

3Add flour and yeast, stir

4until well blended.

5Put in bowl and cover.

6Keep in refrigerator.

7You don't have to let rise before baking.

8Put large spoonfuls in greased muffin pan and bake at 400° for 20 minutes.

9This will keep in the refrigerator for 1 week.

10This will make about 15 large muffins.
