Spring Fling Fruit Tart

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 pkg (250 g) Philadelphia Brick Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
  • 3/4 cup whipping cream, whipped
  • Garnish: kiwi slices, strawberry halves, grated orange and lemon rind (optional)

Directions

    COMBINE flour and brown sugar, stir well to blend; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; knead until well blended.

    Press onto the bottom and 1/2 in.

    (1.5 cm) up sides of a 10 in.

    (25 cm) flan pan with removable bottom.

    Bake at 350F (180C) for 10-12 min or until golden brown.

    Cool completely.

    BEAT cream cheese, sugar and rind in large mixing bowl on medium speed with electric mixer until well blended.

    Fold in whipped cream; pour into crust.

    Chill until firm.

    JUST before serving arrange fruit on top of tart.

    Carefully remove rim of pan.
