  • 2 whole Avocados
  • 1 whole Banana, Sliced
  • 1 can (about 11 Oz. Can) Manadrin Oranges
  • 4 cups Napa Cabbage
  • 2 cups Granny Smith Apples
  • 1/4 cups Flat Leaf Parsley
  • 1/4 cups Chopped Pecans
  • 1/2 cups Green Onion, Thinly Sliced

  • FOR THE WHITE DRESSING:
  • 1 teaspoon Celery Seed
  • 1 Tablespoon Powdered Onion
  • 4 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 1/2 cups White Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

    If you haven't tried napa cabbage, give it a try if you see it at your farm stand or market.

    The white dressing is a tasty recipe for a salad with fruit, nice and light. Mix all the ingredients in a 1-quart covered jar and allow to stand at room temperature for 24 hours. Refrigerate 1 hour before serving. Shake well just before using. This dressing will keep for 1 week in the refrigerator.

    I have also cheated and used my favorite bottled dressing , Newman's Own Low Fat Sesame Ginger Dressing.
