Squash Casserole

  • 4 medium squash
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 small can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
  • 1 egg
  • 2 c. precooked corn bread

Directions

    Cut squash to boil.

    Put into 2-quart saucepan.

    When soft, drain and mash.

    Saute onions in margarine.
  5. 5
    Now add squash, onions, margarine, soup and egg to corn bread crumbs; mix well. Season to taste.

    Bake in 350° oven for about 30 minutes or until brown.
