Squash Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 lb. (2 c.) squash
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. grated cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Cook squash until tender, then drain and mash.

2Mix sugar, mayonnaise, onion, eggs, salt and pepper together and combine with squash.

3Place in buttered casserole dish and top with cracker crumbs, grated cheese and 1/2 stick butter.

4Bake in 350° oven for 25 to 40 minutes.
