  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 1 1/2 c. cooked squash
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley
  • 2 Tbsp. pimiento
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Scald milk.

    Add the bread crumbs.

    Stir in the squash, beaten egg and cheese.

    Mix in the rest of the ingredients.

    Place in a buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole.

    Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 1 hour.
