  • 2 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced squash
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 c. crushed unsalted crackers
  • 1 (0.4 oz.) envelope buttermilk Ranch style dressing (dry)
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. soft bread crumbs or crackers
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted

Directions

    Cook squash with onions according to directions, omitting salt; drain well, pressing between paper towels.

    Combine squash mixture, mayonnaise and next 4 ingredients in lightly greased 2-quart pan.

    Combine crackers or bread crumbs and butter over top.

    Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
