  • 1 can cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom
  • grated Cheddar or American cheese
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine
  • 1/2 bag cornbread stuffing
  • 4 or 5 squash
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 small onion

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Boil onions, squash, salt and pepper in cooker until tender; drain.

    Put squash in casserole dish.

    Now put 1 to 2 layers of squash, butter, cream of mushroom soup, cheese and bread stuffing.

    Top with bread stuffing and then cheese.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes or until bubbling and golden brown.
