- 1 lb. summer squash
- 1 c. milk
- 1 egg
- salt and pepper to taste
- 20 saltine crackers, crushed
- 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Boil squash until tender; drain and mash.

2Add butter, salt and pepper, crackers, egg and milk.

3Pour into greased dish and sprinkle with grated cheese.

4Bake at 425° for 20 minutes.
