Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 3 or 4 yellow squash
  • 1 medium onion
  • salt
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 to 1 1/2 c. crumbs (I use part seasoned stuffing)
  • 1 c. grated cheese

Directions

    Cook squash in small amount of water; should be about 3 cups when done.

    Mash coarsely and add rest of ingredients.

    Pour into buttered casserole dish.

    Sprinkle top with crumbs and grated cheese.

    Bake at 325° to 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
