Squash Casserole

  • 4 c. squash, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 1 small can water chestnuts, sliced
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted
  • 1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm herb dressing

Directions

    Cook squash and onion in small amount of water (salted). Drain. Add soup, sour cream and water chestnuts. Separately

    mix melted butter and herb dressing. Put half of dressing mix in bottom of baking dish. Add squash mixture. Cover with remaining dressing mixture. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
