  • 1 lb. squash
  • 1 egg
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. grated cheese (Cheddar)
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Cook squash tender.

    Drain and add salt and pepper to taste and beaten egg.

    Fold in all other ingredients.

    Put in buttered casserole dish.

    Top with buttered crumbs.

    Bake for 35 minutes at 350°.
