Squash Casserole

  • 1 lb. yellow squash (summer squash)
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. grated cheese (yellow Cheddar)
  • 1/4 stick margarine
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Cook squash until tender; drain and mash.

    Mix sugar, mayo, onion, egg, salt and pepper together.

    Then add squash.

    Place in casserole dish and top with grated cheese and margarine.

    Cook at 350° for 35 minutes.
