- 4 medium yellow squash, sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 c. crushed saltines
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Combine squash and onion in saucepan with small amount of water.

2Cook until tender. Drain.

3Add remaining ingredients and pour into greased casserole dish.

4Top with some crumbled crackers and grated Cheddar cheese.

5Bake in 350° oven for approximately 35 minutes until top is brown.

6Makes 6 servings.
