Squash Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. yellow squash, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. grated cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 1 c. herb dressing mix

Directions

    Cook squash and onion until tender. Drain and mash.

    Combine all ingredients except dressing.

    Put in buttered casserole. Sprinkle dressing on top.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

    Serves 6 to 8.
