- 6 medium yellow crookneck squash, sliced
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 medium onion
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1 c. grated cheese
- 1 c. cracker crumbs
Directions

1Cook squash and onion.

2Remove from heat and add salt, pepper and butter.

3Add cracker crumbs, half grated cheese, milk and egg. Blend well.

4Pour into casserole and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.

5Bake for 20 minutes at 350°.

6It is good made with Cheddar cheese, but coon cheese is delicious.
