  • 1 1/2 qt. cooked squash
  • 1 small to medium onion, chopped and sauteed in margarine
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1/4 lb. crushed saltines
  • 1 block margarine, cut up
  • 8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in a 12 x 14-inch pan. Cut squash fine and add to mixture. Bake at 350° until brown.
