Squash Casserole

  • cooked squash (1 1/2 lb. raw)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 large bell pepper
  • bacon bits
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • grated cheese
  • Ritz crackers
  • pepper and salt

Directions

    In a deep casserole dish, put a layer of Ritz crackers, then squash, onion, bell pepper, tomatoes, bacon bits, cheese and mushroom soup.

    Put butter, salt and pepper.

    Now, keep layers of squash, onion, bell pepper, tomatoes, bacon bits and cheese, almost to the top.

    Put a layer of Ritz crackers on top, then spread cream of mushroom soup on top of crackers.

    Sprinkle cheese on top.

    Bake at 350° for 20 or 25 minutes.
