- 1 lb. squash, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 tsp. butter, melted
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- pepper to taste
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. sharp cheese, grated
- 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
Directions

1Cook squash and onions in boiling water, covered, 10 minutes or until tender.

2Drain, mash and add butter, eggs, milk, seasoning and sugar.

3Blend well.

4Place in casserole dish; top with cheese and crumbs.

5Bake at 375° for 30 minutes.
