  • 1 pkg. cooked squash, drained
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. onion (optional; cook onion and squash together)
  • 2 c. grated cheese or less

Directions

    Melt butter. Mix with flour. Add milk. Stir in the ingredients above and put in casserole dish. Cover with cracker crumbs and bake at 350° about 45 minutes, until bubbly and brown.
