- 3 lb. yellow squash
- 1/2 c. Vidalia onion, chopped
- 1 c. bread crumbs
- 3/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 stick margarine
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Clean and slice squash.

2Boil until tender.

3Drain, then mash. Add all ingredients except 1/2 cup bread crumbs and 1/4 cup margarine to squash.

4Melt remaining butter.

5Pour squash mixture into casserole dish.

6Sprinkle with remaining bread crumbs and drizzle with remaining butter.

7Bake at 375° for 1 hour or until golden brown.
