Ingredients

  • 2 lb yellow squash
  • 1 pan cornbread
  • 1/2 c chopped celery
  • 2 T margarine
  • 1 (10 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 2 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 c water
  • 2 c milk
  • 1/2 c chopped onion
  • 1 tsp pepper

Directions

    Cook squash until tender; mash.

    Mix cornbread with milk and set aside.

    Saute onion and celery in margarine until tender.
  4. 4
    Mix black pepper, soup, poultry seasoning and squash.

    Add to celery and onion.

    Stir in cornbread mixture.

    Pour into a 2 quart casserole dish and bake until set in 350° oven.
