- 5 small yellow squash
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 1/2 c. bell pepper, chopped
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 boxes Jiffy cornbread mix
- milk
Directions

1Prepare cornbread as directed on package.

2Peel squash and slice into 1/4 inch slices.

3Boil until tender.

4Saute onion, celery and bell pepper in butter until tender-crisp.

5Crumble cornbread in pan.

6Add cream of chicken soup, sauteed vegetables and squash.

7Add milk until desired consistency.

8Pour into baking dish and bake in 350° oven 25 to 30 minutes.
