- 2 1/2 c. cooked squash (yellow crookneck)
- 1/4 c. corn meal (plain)
- 1/4 c. flour (plain)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 small chopped onion
Directions

1Cook unpeeled squash until tender.

2Drain and then add all other ingredients.

3Mix and then fry in hot oil until brown, turning like a pancake.

4(If you like, you may add jalapeno peppers to mixture before frying.)
