- 12 c. sliced squash
- 2 c. sliced onions
- 1 Tbsp. pickling salt
- 2 c. diced green pepper
- 2 c. vinegar
- 3 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
Directions

1Combine squash and onions; sprinkle with salt.

2Let stand one hour.

3Combine remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.

4Pack squash and onions into hot jars leaving 1/4 inch headspace.

5Cover at once with lids and screw tight.

6Process in boiling water for 15 minutes.

7Makes 4 pints.
